Shamar Preparation and Training
Shamar Preparation and Training is a resource for churches looking to improve their emergency preparedness and church security team training. Shamar Preparation and Training offers two online programs designed to help churches build a strong foundation for safety and security.
The first is a Church Leader Training and Emergency Operations Plan (EOP) Builder. Church leaders watch short training videos and answer questions specific to their church. Shamar Preparation & Training's software then uses that information to create a customized FEMA alligned Emergency Operations Plan specific to the church. The completed plan can be downloaded for free, with no login or paywall.
The second is Church Security Team Training, a comprehensive program covering the mission of Biblical church security, situational awareness, communication, de-escalation, teamwork, and emergency response from a Biblical perspective. The training is designed for onboarding volunteer security teams, and it's perfect for armed or unarmed teams because it focuses on principles and decision-making rather than firearms.
Churches who utilize the security team training program also receive a church security team management dashboard, giving church leaders tools to track training and maintain accountability.
Together, these resources give churches a practical way to plan for emergencies, train their security teams, and build a more prepared and organized church safety program.
